Working on Square for Franchises, a microservice platform for multi-location franchise management. Responsible for backend services across catalog, reporting, and orchestration — defining gRPC/HTTP contracts, building caching strategies, and delivering Temporal-driven distributed workflows. Designed multi-location menu sync and propagation, cross-service reporting over key business entities, and contributed Java changes for Org and Gift Card domains. Acted as DRI for multiple initiatives, driving architecture decisions and end-to-end delivery.
Built and maintained backend services for an email security platform serving SMBs and MSPs — inbound/outbound flows, gateway components, anti-phishing pipeline, REST APIs, and WHMCS billing automation. Core engineer on PhishProtection: real-time link click protection, smart quarantine, spoofing controls, customizable filtering, and the web-based admin console.
Delivered client platforms end-to-end — from requirements through implementation and support. Designed REST APIs for a B2B automotive parts platform, built data ingestion pipelines from APIs, XML feeds, HTML pages, and raw datasets, and implemented a custom caching service with its own API. Developed shared libraries used across projects to standardize delivery.
Delivered web applications across backend and frontend — back-office systems, integrations, APIs, and public-facing products. Served as team lead on selected projects.
